Maids & Mates Stay
Helsingor is our own back yard — the company is registered in Aalsgaarde — and it is the area we know best. We look after everything from small flats in the centre to houses along the coast, and in practice we can be there the same day if a turnover goes wrong.
Tourism here runs all year, not only in summer: the castle, the museum and the ferry to Sweden bring guests in every month. The stays are short in return — often one or two nights — so the number of turnovers per property is higher than anywhere else in North Zealand.
We cover: Helsingør, Espergærde, Snekkersten, Ålsgårde, Hornbæk, Hellebæk, Humlebæk.
We cover postcodes 3000. If the property sits just outside, call and ask — it depends on what else we have in the area that day.
Cleaning the whole property, making the beds and a round checking the things a guest notices: hair in the drain, fingerprints on glass, crumbs in a drawer.
We take the used linen away to be washed and bring clean next time. Use your own, or rent sets from us.
Toilet paper, soap, dishwasher tablets, coffee — whatever should be there. We tell you when something is running low, rather than when it has run out.
A photo is taken of every single completed job. If a guest remembers it differently afterwards, you can show what the property looked like when we left. It is a requirement in the system, not an add-on.
If something is broken, it is in the portal with a picture before the guest has left — not three weeks later when nobody can remember.
Keys are signed in and out by name. Door codes and alarm codes are encrypted and released no earlier than 24 hours before the job.
Everyone who works for us is employed by us with a salary, holiday pay, pension contributions and insurance — and a clean criminal record before they enter a property for the first time. You carry no liability for them and you check nobody's paperwork.
You can see every job, when it was done, who was there and the photo from when they left. It is all in one place instead of in a conversation nobody can find their way back through.
We cover 95 % of agreed jobs. If we cannot staff one, you hear about it straight away — not an hour after the guest has arrived.
